Fred B. Dinger III - President & CEO
Mr. Dinger has over 20 years of product development and new medical device product commercialization experience, including the management of product manufacturing operations, project commercialization and research and development teams. He also serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of C2M (Concept to Market) Medical, a captive consultant group to medical device companies for investors. Prior to C2M, Mr. Dinger served as President and Chief Executive Officer of OsteoBiologics, Inc. from May 2002 until its acquisition by Smith & Nephew Endoscopy in July 2006; as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of A-Med Systems, Inc.; as Vice President, Research and Development for Xomed Surgical Products, Inc.; as Vice President, Research and Development for Linvatec Corporation; and as a supervising engineer in the Space and Strategic Avionics Division of Honeywell, Inc.
Mr. Dinger earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University and a Master of Science in Engineering Management from University of South Florida. He holds numerous device and method patents as inventor and serves on the board of directors for several privately held medical device companies.
Donald Gonzales, MD - Founder & Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Gonzales belongs to a rare class of clinical entrepreneurs who successfully blend their clinical experience and business outlook to address unmet needs within the medical community. In 2004, he formed the first of several companies including Xorbent Technologies, Xorbent L.L.C. and Xorbent, Inc., that would eventually merge to become ENTrigue Surgical Inc. He has also performed cutting edge research at the Cardiovascular Research Center at Massachusetts General Hospital, Memorial Sloan Kettering, Strang Cancer Institute at Rockefeller University and Cornell University. Dr. Gonzales has also had active clinical practices as a staff physician at Tulane University and in private practice in Beverly, MA.
Dr. Gonzales graduated from Gordon College and Cornell University Medical College, and then completed his residency in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at Tulane University School of Medicine. He is also listed as an inventor on six patent applications for devices and methods in ENT surgical applications.
Joseph D. Oliver III - Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Oliver has over 25 years of financial and business operations experience in both public and private companies, including the management of companies through turnarounds, financial restructurings, integration of acquisitions, strategic shifts in core operations and maturation of early stage companies. He also serves as Chief Financial Officer of C2M Medical. Prior to C2M, he served as Chief Financial Officer of OsteoBiologics, Inc. from December 2003 to November 2006; as CFO of two early stage software technology companies, one in network infrastructure protection and the other in telecom signaling services; as CFO for three private healthcare product and services companies; as CFO and Executive Vice President of an international agribusiness product company; Treasurer and Director of Planning for an international marine-based energy product and service company; as Assistant Treasurer of a private family energy and investment management company; and as a senior staff professional for an international public accounting firm.
Mr. Oliver is a Certified Public Accountant and earned a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from the University of Mississippi.
Gabriele G. Niederauer PhD - Vice President, R&D
Dr. Niederauer has more than 20 years of experience in the study, development and commercialization of biomaterials for orthopedic, dental and ENT tissue repair. She also serves as Vice President of Research and Development at C2M Medical. From 1995 to 2006, Dr. Niederauer was with OsteoBiologics, Inc., where she served as Director of Research and Development from 1999 until 2006 and she was instrumental in launching 12 new product lines. Her responsibilities included coordinating experimental, preclinical, and clinical studies; planning and submitting regulatory filings; managing OBI's intellectual property portfolio; and assisting with new business expansion.
Dr. Niederauer completed a Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the Orthopaedic Biomechanics Laboratory at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio; a Doctor of Philosophy and Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Iowa State University; and a Bachelor of Science degree in Ceramic Engineering from Clemson University. Dr. Niederauer is widely published and she is a co-inventor of nine patents and seven applications for devices and methods used in surgical procedures and tissue engineering.
